What is Area & how to calculate it.
In Mathematics, Area is the quantity that expresses the extent of a two-dimensional figure or shape in the plane.
Surface area is its analog on the two-dimensional surface of a three-dimensional object.
SI base unit: 1 m^2
SI unit: square metre
You may find area of some objects with below formulas.

Speed ๐๐ฆ๐
* Lets accelerate to 60 bro… woohoo ๐
* Don’t you see speed limits? ๐๐ฎ️
☝️ Have you heard of such things?
Today we are talking about Speed.
Simply, speed is the “distance per unit time”
Speed = (Distance) / (Time)
* Unit Time —> Can be in one second/ per hour.
There are several ways you can tell speed. Some of these,
• Kilometers per hour (km / h or kmph)
• Meters per second (m / s or mps)
The speed limits we see on the road are in kmph …
Like 40 kmph, 50 kmph, 70 kmph.
Now look at the following examples.
1. A bus took 21 minutes to reach the first 14 km and the remaining 22 km took 14 minutes.
i. The entire journey was in hours?
ii. Bus speed?
Answer..
First let’s see how to turn the minutes into hours.
60 minutes = 1 hour
60 min = 1 h
1min = 1/60 h
20 min = 20/60 h
46 min = 46/60 h
i. Total time spent
= 21/60 + 14/60 h
= (21 + 14) / 60 h
= 35/60 h
= 0.583 h
ii. The speed of the bus
= (Total Distance) / (Time)
= (14 km + 22 km) / (0.583 h)
= 36 km / 0.583 h
= 61.75 kmph
I think now it it clear for you what is the Speed!

Power of 10 [10^n]
Today we are talking about the lesson of powers of 10.
You can see such as 21.6k and 1.3M on the social medias.
you see all the time on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube etc..
If it is 21k on facebook, it means 21? ๐ค๐ค
Nooooo ๐๐ค
But lot of people think so … oh ๐
Simply explain,
k (kilo) = thousand = 1,000 = 10 ^ 3
M (Mega) = Million = 1,000,000 = 10 ^ 6
As above theories, 21.6k means 21,600 reactions.
1.3M Views means 1,300,000 views.
“Let’s see how it goes.”
21.6K = 21.6 x 10 ^ 3 = 21.6 x 1,000 = 21,600
1.3M = 1.3 x 10 ^ 6 = 1.3 x 1,000,000 = 1,300,000
Now see below example to clear more…

Percentage %
Have you heard ??
* You have to do 50 percent of that work!
* Eighty percent of what she said was false!
Today we are talking about percentages.
This is how to calculate the percentage.
Percentage = {(completed Size) / (Total Size)} x 100
• Completed amount is the amount of completed by you.
• Total number is the absolute number to do.
Consider the following example.
1. John had 90 mangoes out of which 32 were for sale.
i. What is the percentage of mango that John could sell?
ii. What’s the percentage of mangoes remaining?
i. What is the percentage of mango that John could sell?
ii. What’s the percentage of mangoes remaining?
Answers,
i. Percentage of mangoes sold
= (Number of mangoes sold) / (Total number of mangoes) x 100
= (32/90) x 100
= 35.55%
= 36%
= (Number of mangoes sold) / (Total number of mangoes) x 100
= (32/90) x 100
= 35.55%
= 36%
ii. Percentage Of remaining mango
= (Remaining mango) / (total mango) x 100
= (Remaining mango) / (total mango) x 100
= {(90-32) / 90} x100
= (58) / (90) x 100
= 64.44%
= 64%
= (58) / (90) x 100
= 64.44%
= 64%
I think it is clear now. Looking forwad to our next lesson.

24 Hour Format
Today we are talking about simple, time-consuming 24 hour format.
Often seen in train stations and airports, this is the standard time.
As usual,
From midnight. 12 until 11.59 am we will be at 2:00 pm.
Or AM from 12 noon until 11.59 pm. Or used as PM.
Remember the standard way of saying it is time ..
It’s 24 hours a day. 12 midnight, 12 noon, first 12 hours
and then 12 noon until 12 midnight.
The time is 12 hours, starting at midnight and then 12 hours after noon.
See the image below to make it more clear.
Or AM from 12 noon until 11.59 pm. Or used as PM.
and then 12 noon until 12 midnight.
